Basant Ki Var – the Song of Spring, also known as the Millionaire’s Mantra

Some people seem to move through life with more ease. They handle tough times better, they find it easier to start and grow projects, the right opportunities and people tend to show up at the right time. Even money seems to arrive when it’s needed.
In the yogic tradition, this is explained not by luck or special karma. It’s said that these people operate from a different internal state that shapes how they think, make decisions, and take action.
The key point is that this state can be cultivated. There are different ways to do this, and sound is one of the most accessible and sustainable tools. There’s no mysticism here. It aligns with principles found in quantum physics: sound frequencies can influence and reorganize patterns within a living system.
The mantra Basant Ki Var is known as the Song of Spring, and also as the Millionaire’s Mantra. This sound code carries a powerful energetic impulse, similar to what we witness every spring, when nature emerges from dormancy and begins to grow, expand, and multiply everything that can grow.
This mantra imprints frequencies into your energetic system that support activation, growth, alignment, and the dynamic development of what you intend to bring into reality.
You begin to “resonate” differently, and the field around you responds with new opportunities and experiences.
Yogi Bhajan practiced 11 repetitions of Basant Ki Var every day.
You can learn this practice and integrate it into your own life.
On April 2, during the next session of the “Library of Living Sound,” Gurujas will explain the nuances of pronunciation and the finer points of the practice.

You’ll have ongoing access to all supplementary materials.

About Basant Ki Var

Basant Ki Var

The ultimate vibration for health and prosperity

There’s much more that could be said about this mantra.

Its sound works on a deep, foundational level, supporting both physical healing and inner renewal. Basant Ki Var is especially associated with balancing the endocrine system.

Yogi Bhajan said that youth and vitality depend directly on the state of the glands. This idea continues to be explored and supported by modern science.

The subtle combination of sounds in this mantra creates a steady flow of life force. It opens space for new opportunities and helps remove obstacles. It moves with the natural rhythm of life - like a river in full flow, always finding a way forward. Like life that simply emerges on its own. It energizes the body and sets everything into motion.

Spring doesn’t compete with winter. Spring comes – and winter fades away.  Life rises from every dormant seed. Nothing can stop it – like green grass pushing through asphalt.

This is the power carried within the sound current of Basant Ki Var.

Why join a live class with a teacher?

These days, any information is easy to access. You can learn something and start practicing on your own. But information and direct experience are not the same – it’s like a map and the actual road. Knowledge is just information stored in the mind.

Direct experience in the presence of a teacher creates a deeper imprint. Your system picks up subtle cues. It becomes something you recognize and can return to on your own.

That’s the value of learning in a guided environment: the transmission happens through experience, not just explanation. This is when the practice becomes real and has a tangible effect.

The replay will be available for one year.

You’ll have ongoing access to all supplementary materials.

What the course includes
Gurujas considers each mantra or shabd in all their dimensions: their nature, their effects and the subtle art of fine-tuning the practice.
  • Understanding how each mantra works
Each mantra is explored from all aspects: its meaning, direction and the purpose for which it is used.
  • Personal and Group Practice
The course provides clear guidance on how to build an individual practice and how to work with mantras within a group field.

  • Live Experience and Teacher Support
Practice in the teacher's field, a living experience where the mantra becomes your personal experience and a tool for change. Gurujas answers your questions during sessions and in the support chat.
  • Skill to use mantras outside the yoga mat
Practice in the teacher’s field offers a direct, living experience in which the mantra moves beyond the form becoming a personal tool for transformation
